Our Grants Create Impact.

A grant fund from conservationist’s for conservationist’s

About the Fund

Conservation doesn’t come cheap - We understand this and so our grant fund has been created to help individuals and projects who need a little kick start. You don’t need to be a high flying academic or national level conservation project to get our support - this grant fund is inclusive of anyone with a plan or project to help birds of prey in the wild.

We have teamed up with some amazing organisations to offer state of the art optical equipment, camera traps and specific training to the right individuals and projects. The Rings for Raptors grant is a specific grant offering projects involved in ringing or banding birds of prey support in obtaining colour rings for research purposes.

The grant fund is directly funded from donations made to Raptor Aid by people who care about birds of prey and their conservation. We wanted to give our supporters the chance to make donations to raptor conservation knowing that their money is going to makes a difference in the field. We take great pride in our honesty and integrity, if you have donated to Raptor Aid you can have every faith your donation will help birds of prey, conservationists and projects.

We don’t give money away to just anyone though, you need to come to us with a specific plan or current project that needs our grant assistance. We are happy to invest in individuals but you need to show us that this will benefit birds of prey and their conservation.

We have one monetary grant fund, three specific equipment grants and one training grant available annually.
